Curried Red Lentils

Lentils are a go-to for me. They are quick, easy, and very transport friendly. This is my favourite way to cook the red little beauties. Serve with rice, pasta, on a piece of toast or even by itself. Enjoy πŸ™‚IMG_8870

Curried Red Lentils


  • 1 Cup Red Lentils
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 400g can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Curry Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Chilli
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic


  1. Put all ingredients in a pot. Stir and cook over a high heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 20-30mins until lentils are soft and have absorbed all the liquid.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a bit before serving.
